Terms of Service

Last updated October 12, 2026

  1. 1. Agreeing to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Closer, including the Georgia AI assistant, lead discovery, pipeline, marketing and approval features (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that company.

  2. 2. Accounts and workspaces

Accounts are created by invitation only. You must give accurate details, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for everything done under your account.

Data belongs to a workspace. Everyone in a workspace can see and change its leads, deals, contacts, companies and settings according to their role. Workspace owners and admins decide who has access.

  3. 3. Your data

You keep all rights to the data you put into the Service ("Customer Data"). You give us permission to store, process and transmit it only as needed to run, secure and support the Service for you.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and use the personal data of your leads and contacts, and for honouring their requests, including requests to access, correct or delete their data.

  4. 4. AI features

Georgia and other AI features research companies, score leads, and draft emails, posts and replies. AI output can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Review it before relying on it.

Outbound messages and posts prepared by the Service wait for your approval unless you change that in Settings. You are responsible for any content you approve, send or publish.

Customer Data you send to AI features is processed by the AI provider configured for your workspace, under that provider's terms.

  5. 5. Email, messaging and marketing rules

You must follow the laws that apply to your outreach, including anti-spam, privacy and telemarketing laws such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, PECR, CASL and the TCPA. That includes identifying yourself truthfully, including a valid postal address and working unsubscribe link in marketing emails, honouring opt-outs promptly, and only calling or texting people where you are allowed to.

Do not use the Service to send deceptive, harassing or unsolicited bulk messages, or to scrape or contact people in breach of a website's or platform's terms.

  6. 6. Connected services

You can connect third-party services such as Gmail, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram and Twilio. Your use of each is governed by that provider's terms, and you authorise us to access them on your behalf only to deliver the features you turn on. You can disconnect them at any time. We are not responsible for third-party services or changes they make.

  7. 7. Acceptable use

Do not: break the law or anyone's rights; upload malware; probe, overload or bypass the Service's security or usage limits; access another workspace's data; resell or reverse engineer the Service; or use it to build a competing product.

We may suspend access that we reasonably believe breaks these Terms or puts the Service, other users or third parties at risk. Where practical we will tell you first.

  8. 8. Security and availability

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect Customer Data. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features over time.

  9. 9. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may end or suspend your access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms. After an account or workspace is closed we may delete its Customer Data after a reasonable period, except where the law requires us to keep it.

  10. 10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output or lead data, and non-infringement.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

  11. 11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. When we make a material change we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
